The one who had it so bad
Hardly can give you whatever good you had
The one who has not seen what love is
The one who has not known what respect is
The one who is not aware of what trust is
Can hardly give you of any of these
The one who has not known about stability
To know commitment is beyond his ability
All that he had, upon you he will thrust
Lack of love, no respect and lack of trust
To assume your love was enough
All that fairy tale romance stuff
It was alright to make that assumption
Alas! If only his love was not a deception
One ends up as a punching bag
Left with the darn label of love-tag
One does feel jolted and betrayed
To live amidst the spill of hatred
